Love of music.  Published by Art Unlimited, Amsterdam.

This postcard features a close-up image of a guitar, capturing a beautifully unique design aspect of its structure. The focus of the postcard is on the sound hole of the guitar, which is not the typical round shape but instead is crafted in the shape of an elegant heart. This heart-shaped sound hole is outlined with an intricate, decorative border featuring traditional filigree work that adds a touch of refined artistry to the instrument.

The guitar itself has a warm, orange-brown hue, indicative of a classic wooden construction, possibly made from woods like spruce or cedar, which are commonly used for their tonal qualities in guitar craftsmanship. The natural wood grain is visible and runs vertically, providing a textural and visual contrast to the smooth, polished surface.

Six strings stretch across the image from the top to the bottom, hinting at the standard six-string configuration of classical guitars. The fretboard, visible at the top part of the postcard, is dark, likely made of a hardwood such as rosewood or ebony, and shows several frets with no visible fret markers. The contrast between the dark fretboard and the lighter wooden body emphasizes the overall aesthetic and design coherence.

This postcard not only showcases the craftsmanship of a musical instrument but also creatively integrates a symbol of love and passion into its design, making it profoundly symbolic. It could appeal not just to music lovers but also to those who appreciate inventive art and design. The heart-shaped sound hole could be a metaphor for playing from the heart or the love of music, making this image a poignant representation of the emotional and expressive power of music.
