The medicinal art on this card was made soon after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the U.S. in early 2020, and has been used in school curricula, prisoner letter-writing, youth and elder care, and many more settings.
Ricardo sees his art and organizing practices as means to address individual, collective and historical trauma.
