Carl Larsson (1853–1919) was a Swedish painter and interior designer, representative of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Sweden's best loved artist, is widely regarded as one of the founders of Swedish style.

Many of his charming watercolors of his home & family have inspired designers ever since with their beautiful textile designs, deceptively plain interiors and the use of natural light.
